The Editorial Edition
Vitamin C is one of the most essential nutrients our body & Skin crave. We mix and match this beautiful vitamin in our Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Glow Serum, but we are also aware that consuming this vitamin as part of a lifestyle is just as necessary for healthy functioning.
From a quick google search, and with high hopes to find some new recipe rich in Vitamin C, I was astounded to find that Herbal Teas, Fruit Juices, and some rich-in-vegetables soups were the most common options offered.
I was all about finding a sexier option of combining vitamin C in my daily routine, and quite frankly, as the Autumn approaches and the weather drops bit by bit, I much rather have a good [healthy as can be] cocktail, then a fruit juice (that to me feels more like a summer-appropriate option.)
Thanks to my ambition, and after careful research, which included some quality time with my bar-tender/'mixologist' brother, I am happy to present the official Autumn Vitamin C-rich drink to add to your daily diet. And I sincerely hope that the next time you're out and about, you will be thinking of me thanks to this article.
What you will need to make our Rich in Vitamin C Cocktail:
Vitamin C Gin Fizz (serving for 2)
- Cherries
- squeeze the juice of 1 fresh lime
- squeeze the juice of 1 fresh orange
- 4 shots of gin
- ice cubes
- San Pellegrino Natural Sparkling Water
HOW TO?
Step 1) Use a cocktail shaker filled with ice to mix the two fruit juices
Step 2) Pour the gin over the ice and juices.
Step 3) Pour the shaken gin and orange-lime juices over iced down cocktail glasses.
Step 4) Top the glasses off with Sparkling Water.
Step 5) Stir and garnish with a lime wedge, and Cherries.
