Yardè is an aspiring zero-waste skincare brands, with a strong sustainable, eco-conscious agenda

YARDEN NATSIA DE-RIDDER
Founder & CEO
Say Hello to Yarden - a New Yorker with Mediterranean zest.
" I spent my childhood growing up by the Mediterranean sea, in a small town surrounded by Olive trees, flowers, and nature. But it was only when I moved to New York City for college, that I was introduced to the beauty world.
The idea of Yardè was born at the Columbia University dorm room, as part of my vision to bring the rich nature of the Mediterranean into the world of skincare. I was inspired to apply the Mediterranean health&wellness knowledge that is linked to a longer life span and overall healthier body and soul-- to skincare. To nourish our skins using a Mediterranean skincare nutrients, both from inside-out & outside-in.
Yardè for me is Mediterranean - wellness - skincare line combined with a deep sustainable approach that is healthy and good for us and our planet. "
MEET THE TEAM
NOAM GALINSKY
Chief Brand & Strategy Officer
Say hello to Noam, our partner behind our brand and business strategy.
"I remember how overwhelming it all was -- running in between my classes at Columbia University, making sure I spent enough time with friends so I wouldn't lose complete sanity, and trying to keep up with the latest beauty trends, each being the 'next best thing'. I was exhausted. But I remember thinking, I couldn't be the only one. That's why when Yarden caught me in-between the chaos of life in New York City with her idea for Yardè, I knew I was in.
Here at Yardè, we believe self-care does not have to be complicated. Even more-so, living sustainability does not have to be complicated. That's why we have banded the two together to create a brand that keeps you and the planet in mind.
Living a healthy life should be accessible, especially when it's paired with supporting a healthier, cleaner future."

ORLENE ROM
Director of Sustainable Development
Say Hello to Orlene - the face behind our sustainable commitment.
Orlene breathes and lives sustainability. With a rich background in Sustainable Development projects throughout Africa and the Middle East, her vision of sustainable beauty came to life through yardè.
" The beauty industry is known to be wasteful especially when it comes to packaging. At Yardè we give a lot of attention to a product's lifespan. As part of our mission to re-invent sustainable beauty. We believe in taking action, I strongly oppose the greenwashing that is heavily practiced in our industry and hope that we will serve as a beacon of light for other companies to do the same.
We believe in transparency, reduction of use, and reuse/refill of existing bottles. Our mission is to bring circular economy practices into the field of skincare and beauty. And that is exactly what I'm here to do! We can reduce our carbon footprint also when we practice self-care, and honestly, it feels much better when you do so. "
- Researches have shown that 20%-40% of beauty products end up as waste. (@ARNAUD PLAS)
- 70% of beauty waste comes from packaging. (@EPAGOV)
