Can Drinking Water Clear Your Skin?

Staying hydrated is one of the easiest self treatments!

When you drink a lot of water, your cells become hydrated and flushes out any impurities and toxins.


The benefits from drinking more water include:

1. Improve skin tone

2. Reduced puffiness

3. Tightens skin

4. Prevents acne

5. Helps dry skin Many people don’t drink enough water.



For a while my go to drink when waking up was a cup of coffee. Instead of waking me up, I would become tired quickly. It's only when I realized I wasn’t intaking enough water throughout the day, and changed it that I started to notice a difference.


I began a small life-changing habit, where I decided to stop drinking coffee every morning like I was used to, and instead, started to drink lots of water until I felt energized. I immediately felt just energized and awake when launching my day with a good cup of water. Another benefit I personally noticed was that change my skin was going through, out of the sudden it started to glow like never before.


Interesting [and important] fact that I found out is that -- the average intake of water recommended for women is about 11.5 cups, whereas for men is about 15.5 cups.


It's only when I realized I wasn’t intaking enough water throughout the day, and changed it that I started to notice a difference.

For the past 3 years, I have carried a water bottle around with me everywhere! I bring it to the beach, gym, mall, and even to places where water is extremely accessible like a restaurant, it just that easily became an inseparable part of me and my lifestyle.

In the past I suffered from dry skin and keeping hydrated is my new secret formula!


Even Beyoncé says she drinks a gallon of water a day, and I figured, if she can do it…. we can do it!


We all want that glowing skin and adding water to your daily self-care routine is a first step to take in the right direction!
